Personal Training Director
Primary Responsibilities:
Maximize the personal training revenues and the number of members who utilize personal training by hiring, training, and managing a world-class personal training team.
Staffing:
* Interview, hire, train and schedule all fitness center personnel including personal trainers and floor trainers. * Continue to develop a pool of staff to meet Bladiums current and future needs. * Hold weekly Trainer Staff meetings. * Ensure that Bladium has a sufficient pool of qualified floor training staff to meets the clubs need and according to the current set budget. Coordinate with the GM on the floor trainers exact schedule and recommend changes and improvements. * Ensure that all floor and personal trainers are properly trained and consistently perform their duties according to their job description and the companys policies and procedures. * Ensure that all floor and personal trainers interact with the members, offering training tips and selling personal training. All floor and personal trainers need to be trained and coached on the proper way to have conversations with members and the appropriate way to introduce and sell training products and services.
Personal Training:
* Ensure that all trainers perform their Personal Training according to the companys policies and procedures. * Review Personal Training sessions to ensure that member's training sessions are safe, appropriate and effective according to the national guidelines. * Market, monitor and manage Personal Training to achieve revenue and sessions completed goals. * Review PT on the Net and pick one useful article each week for members. * Prepare a monthly personal training email to all Bladium members. * Introduce and market new PT programs.
Work Schedule:
* This is a full-time position. The Director will train approximately 10hrs per week. * Remaining hours will be administration, marketing and staffing duties as it relates to managing the PT Department.
Requirements: Experience and Education Requirements:
* College degree * Fitness certification from a nationally recognized association. * CPR & First Aid certification. * Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Director in a Health Club.
