The Health and Fitness industry is a $15 Billion business which has nearly doubled in the last ten years and is projected to increase 47% by 2014.
Requirements: <>Responsible for negotiating and selling online advertising.
<>Oversee, maintain and upgrade existing accounts to ensure ongoing client satisfaction.
<>Develop new business and long term account opportunities through prospecting and cold calling.
<>Coordinate, manage and resolve account maintenance issues.
<>Must be passionate about the online space and have a detailed working knowledge of the industry along with a pulse on what is forthcoming.
<>Must be extremely effective at initiating high-level contacts in accounts and their agencies, and have strong presentation skills to close the sale.
<>Extensive B2B sales experience.
<>Experience selling new products or launching new territories is a big plus.
<>Minimum 3 years direct advertising sales - internet advertising experience a plus.
<>Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
<>Directly responsible for new business development and national account development.
<>Responsible for developing sales forecast and reporting as required.
<>Review market analyses to determine market size, market share, and new market or new product opportunities.
<>Maintain competitive pricing levels that meet established margins and act as liaison between field sales and in establishing pricing discounts.
<>Annual Marketing and Business Plan - Participate in the development of plan. Develop annual sales goals by territory. Implement priorities and actions to obtain goals.
Compensation is a 1099-GENEROUS revenue share/bonus plan. Candidates must be comfortable being compensated this way.
